We opened in 2017 starting to brew our own beer in the basement of the restaurant. While the restaurant has been around since the 1980s serving a variety of other beers we decided that it would be more fun and exciting to brew our own beer on the mountain. Svartbergets Fjällbryggeri was born with the initial capacity to brew beer for the bar. After a successful first season we expanded our brewing capacity and started canning our beers to sell at Systembolaget and other restaurants.
